Trade and credit policy

Trade-Credit Policy

When you bring books to the store, we will give you in-store credit for your books based on condition and resale value. Some of our criteria is based on author, popularity, and the condition and age of the book.  Other factors such as condition, quantity on hand in store, and overall appeal may be used when determining credit.  Books that were previously purchased from Turn the Page Bookstore may always be returned to the store for credit as long as they are in resale condition.

Please note, we do not take in outdated books, medical books, textbooks, dictionaries, etc. In addition, we do not take in video cartridges or audio tapes, encyclopedias, ex-library books, outdated fiction titles, or books with excessive wear or damage.  We ask that all books be clean and free from odors, including smoke and/or pets.  It is up to the discretion of Turn the Page Bookstore to accept or deny items to be traded in or the amount of credit given.
